External

How can I change my USNA password? 

Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid locking yourself out of your computer, GMail, Blackboard or MIDS when a password change is due.

External

If you are NOT authorized to use the VPN:
Use the Password Portal to change the password stored remotely (which is used to login to GMail, Blackboard and MIDS). You must remember your old password and use it to login to your computer until you return to USNA and connect your computer to the network..

Internal

If you are authorized to use the VPN:
First, connect using AnyConnect, then change your password using CTRL+ALT+DEL or the Password Portal (but not both).  Note: You must use AnyConnect, WebVPN will not work.

 

How can I unlock my account?

External

If you have previously enrolled in the USNA Password Portal, you can use it to unlock your account. If you haven't already enrolled in the Password Portal, it is strongly recommended that you do so now. Here is additional information regarding the Password Portal
