LT Joshua Jackson, a native of Dallas, Texas graduated in 2006 from Dallas Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Leadership.  He graduated from Columbia International University in 2009 with a Master in Divinity. In 2017 was commissioned in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps.

 As a prior enlisted sailor, LT Jackson had the honor of serving at sea for three years as an Aviation Administrationman aboard USS KITTY HAWK (CV-63).

His shore tours include service as an Aviation Administrationman at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington with VAQ 137 and AIMD Whidbey.  As a Chaplain Candidate Program Officer (CCPO), he served with the base Chaplain’s office at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. As a Reserve Chaplain, he served with MAG-41 at Fort Worth, Texas. As a Active Duty Chaplain he has served as the battalion chaplain for 1st TSB which is made up of 1,200-1,299 Marines and Sailors, USS Green Bay (LPD 20) as the command chaplain for ship's company. Currently he serves as 4th battalion chaplain at the United States Naval Academy

 LT Jackson’s personal awards include the Fleet Marine Forces Qualified Officer, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medals, Navy Good Conduct award and various other unit and team awards.
