After Hours Podcasting & Video Editing Suites
Two, identical, self-help suites are available on a first come, first served basis outside the MSC Service Desk for making audio recordings, podcasts, editing video, teleconferences and graphics work. Each suite is sound insulated and has a large display with a dedicated webcam. There is also an M4 Mac Mini loaded with all of the graphics and video editing software available in the MSC Graphics Technology Lab and a speed editor for efficient video editing. All of the equipment can also be easily connected to a laptop with the provided cables should you prefer to use your own computer. 410-293-4028. We can leave these edit suites accessible overnight or throughout the weekend but we need to know in advance as MSC is not open after 1600 M-F or on the weekend.

We have two Rode Caster Duo’s available to loan out for free to Midshipmen, Faculty and Staff. Each kit comes with the Rode Caster Duo, two microphones, cables and adapators. They’re well protected in a sturdy hard case and have instructions right on the case. The Rode Caster Duo is perfect for voice recording, performances & podcasting. You can even have someone call your cellphone and link that call to the Rode Caster Duo to record it. Whether it’s for a class, an ECA or a personal project MSC has your needs covered.
