MSC Graphics Technology Lab
MSC Graphics Technology Lab is located on the ground deck of the Nimitz Library. We have a full range of Apple computers, professional software, printers, podcast recording stations and other resources to help faculty, staff and midshipmen with teaching materials, conferences and academic presentations. The Graphics Technology Lab is a self-help facility with dedicated, knowledgeable graphic artists who can provide design assistance and media use instruction. Faculty may request multimedia instruction and use of the lab for their students.
The lab is equipped with 27 inch iMacs as well as laminating and binding equipment which is perfect for:
- Creating Presentations
- Scanning
- Video Editing
- Audio Editing
- Computer Graphics
- Large Format Print Design
- Vinyl Graphics
- Poster Fabrication
Software programs include the Adobe Creative Cloud, (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Audition) Adobe Acrobat Professional, Davinci Resolve, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Garage Band and Microsoft Office.
We do not support or provide materials for the creation of “Pro Reports”, Bancroft Hall “Boards”, personal use projects or quantity printing. For more information on approved uses, please review the MSC Graphics Policy and MSC Reproduction Policy.
