Mini-STEM Oct 11, 2013

Students from high schools in New Orleans and Alabama visited the Naval Academy on Oct 11, 2013 and participated in a faculty and midshipman-led mini-STEM event.

In the "Storm chasers" module, students built models of houses and tested their ability to withstand high winds. Other activities included building and testing model rockets, designing and building catapults, and learning computer simulation with the Alice program.
