Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at the U.S. Naval Academy. My research interests are focused on the control of coordinated motions for nonlinear systems, such as collective control of groups/swarms of autonomous agents, and biped locomotion. Check out my Research page for details, as well as my Google Scholar page.

  • 03/2018: My work with Biswadip Dey on "Collective motion under beacon-referenced cyclic pursuit" has been published in Automatica. (See publications page for details on the journal article.)
  • 12/2017: Kevin S. Galloway and Biswadip Dey, "Constant Bearing Pursuit on Branching Graphs" presented at IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, Melbourne, Australia.

Ph. D., University of Maryland, 2011
  • Advisor: Prof. P. S. Krishnaprasad;  Co-advisor: Dr. Eric W. Justh
  • Dissertation topic: Cyclic Pursuit: Symmetry, Reduction and Nonlinear Dynamics

B.S., U.S. Naval Academy, 1997
