ONR Collaboration

The relationship between the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the United States Naval Academy has flourished over the decades; rooted in a shared commitment to advancing naval science and technology. Since the mid-80's, ONR has provided vital funding for many different USNA research initiatives; spurring innovation and enhancing the Academy's mission to educate and prepare future naval leaders. This collaborative partnership has led to groundbreaking advancements in numerous fields — everything from weapons engineering to cybersecurity — strengthening the Navy's strategic long-term goals.
