Preliminary Application Instructions
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have already submitted a Naval Academy Summer Seminar (NASS) Application, you DO NOT need to submit a Preliminary Application! You are already in our system as an applicant for the Class of 2027.
Indicate what grade level you will be attending in October 2022 (calendar year). If in October 2022, you will be a 12th grader or will have graduated from high school, you are eligible to begin the application process for the USNA Class of 2027 by submitting a Preliminary Application.
The Preliminary Application is NOT savable and should take 15 - 30 minutes to complete. You must have an email address to submit your application. You will not be able to log in to your application to add, fix, or supplement any information.
Our selections are made on a rolling basis - they are not “first come, first served.” However, the earlier a student applies, a review of the application can be completed earlier in the cycle.
