Where is the US Naval Academy Cemetery located?
The Cemetery is located on a part of the grounds of the United States Naval Academy known as Hospital Point. The Academy is located in Annapolis, Maryland.
How can I visit the Cemetery and Columbarium?
Although the Cemetery and Columbarium are on the grounds of the U.S. naval Academy and open to public visitation there are security restrictions in effect. Under usual circumstances the Cemetery is open for visitors from 0900 until sunset. To access the Naval Academy guests should enter from the Visitor Access Center with their government issued Real ID. The Cemetery is about a mile walk from the Visitor Center. Alternatively, the Visitor Center does offer GEM Vehicle Tours that include the cemetery.

How large is the Cemetery?
The Cemetery (not including the land on which the Columbarium is located) is approximately 6.7 acres.
How large is the Columbarium?
The present columbarium contains 2,448 niches. There are plans for expansion that are in review.

Although the Naval Academy does not directly support operations for Burial at Sea, Information can be found at the Navy Personnel Site Here.
