If you enjoy meeting people, the Museum can use your services at the Welcome Desk. Duties include greeting visitors, orienting them to the Museum, directing incoming phone calls, and answering questions about the exhibits. A general knowledge of the Naval Academy and of naval history is helpful, but not required. The Museum staff is available to provide help and answer your questions.
There are two shifts Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Sunday shifts are 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Generally, the Museum needs two volunteers for each shift.
