Admissions Officer
As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. USNA is looking for Officers of excellent character and exemplary service to help select the next generation of leaders for the Navy and Marine Corps.
The incumbent will serve as the Executive Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of Admissions. Responsibilities will include tracking, staffing, and coordinating all staff correspondence, evaluations, awards and other periodic reports. Sensitive correspondence includes preparing responses to higher level authority, members of Congress, parents, candidates, and other public figures. Additional duties include managing the cost center's calendar and assisting in organization staff meetings to meet mission objectives. The incumbent may expect to participate in the Academy's Admissions Board, and therefore, experience as an unrestricted line officer is considered as a plus. Some travel may be expected in conjunction with Admissions Outreach.

- VB-ADOS (36 month orders)
- For duty at USNA, Annapolis MD (PCS is authorized)
- Open to all designators, but URL preferred.
- Report date negotiable, but ASAP. No later than Jan 2027
Required qualifications:
- O-3/O-4
- Record of exemplary service and leadership in uniform and civilian service
- Commitment to excellence.
Desired qualifications:
- URL and warfare qualified
- Experience as Flag Aide or Admin Officer
- Experience in recruiting or training command
