ENLISTED SAILORS AND MARINES FROM THE FLEET
Arrive on 16 July between 0800-1000There is one alternate arrival date offered to support members with a low leave balance, HOWEVER, this is ONLY available if you apply for the early arrival date with the NAPS Command Career Counselor.

Enlisted Marines and Sailors must download and complete these forms:
DIRECT ENTRY (CIVILIAN) MIDSHIPMAN CANDIDATES
Arrive on 21 July between 0800 and 1600In order to minimize arrival crowding, all incoming direct entry midshipman candidates will receive an email with a 30 minute window for reporting. NOTE: You will need to see your local recruiter to enlist in the Navy prior to arriving at NAPS. You MUST bring the following items with you to the Naval Recruiting office.
- Enlistment Package (download and print copy)
- Letter of Authorization to Enlist in Naval Reserve from the Director of Candidate Guidance (emailed to you)
- Birth Certificate (certified/notarized copy)
- Social Security Number (SSN) card
- High School Diploma
For civilian members entering the NAPS Class of 2026-2027
Please download the enlistment package below (save to your computer and then open with Adobe Reader DC) immediately. You will want to begin working through this package as soon as possible to ensure it's complete prior to Induction Day. You also are required to reapply for a nomination to the United States Naval Academy while at NAPS. Instructions and a sample letter are included in the package.
NAPS Will Provide Transportation From TF Green Airport to NAPS on the Arrival Days
NAPS Base access form must be filled by any person(s) coming on base when the student is dropped off.
