Ocean Technology Laboratory (OTL)
The Ocean Technology Laboratory (OTL) is a workshop intended exclusively for Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (ENM) and Ocean Engineering (EOE) students. The laboratory space is equipped with remotely-operated vehicles (ROVs), various types of ocean sensors, Doppler Velocity Logs (DVLs), subsea modems, and even unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for coastal surveys.
The OTL is located in the basement of Hopper Hall (HP002), the Naval Academy's newest academic building. For additional information about the OTL and/or access to the workshop, please contact Assistant Professor Alexander Laun (laun@usna.edu).
