Training for Supervisors & Military Supervisors of APF Civilians
Supervisors must complete ALL required supervisory training within one year of being assigned to a supervisory position and every three years thereafter. There is a new training this FY, Performance Management for Federal Supervisors, with an out of cycle due date of 9 FEB 2026 and as a reminder there are a few due annually.
Supervisory training must be completed in Waypoints. TWMS training has been deactivated. (New URL as of 21 Aug 2025 https://don.csodfed.com)
Supervisors' Note: (applies to managers and supervisors and military supervisors of civilians)
Supervisors and managers are the nexus between Government policy and action, and the link between management and employees. Effective supervision increases motivation, clarifies expectations, and strengthens organizational performance. To build and sustain the skills required, supervisors (military and civilian) of civilian employees must complete initial and recurring mandatory training.

To access this training: Log in to Waypoints, using the “Sign in with CAC/PIV” option. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. (New URL as of 21 Aug 2025 https://don.csodfed.com)
Click on the Transcript button highlighted in red (right hand side of screen).
Once your Transcript is open, your annual FY26 mandatory training will be visible. If you are unable to see the courses in your list, search for the course in the “Search by Keyword” bar.
