LCDR von Heeringen
Clinical Psychologist
LCDR von Heeringen commissioned in 2018. In 2019, she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. LCDR von Heeringen is a graduate of the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Clinical Psychology Internship program.
Her previous assignments include Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command (NMRTC) Cherry Point (Department Head, Behavioral Health), II MEF Task Force Commitment (Officer in Charge, Mental Health), a GSA deployment through the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center (Director of Clinical Support Services, EMF), and 6th Marine Regiment (Officer in Charge, OSCAR).
She is a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer and 2024 Graduate of the Naval War College CDET Command and Staff Course. Her areas of interest include consultation, executive coaching and leadership development, personnel selection, and the application of psychological principles to operational mission-sets. She enjoys teaching, mentorship, and outreach, and applies a holistic approach to treatment.
