Doctor of Psychology candidate

Joseph Nelson is a fifth-year Doctor of Psychology candidate at Divine Mercy University. He received his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Divine Mercy University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from St. Joseph Seminary College.

His previous clinical experiences include college counseling centers, outpatient clinics, and an inpatient hospital setting. He strives to develop a collaborative relationship with his clients to better identify and understand obstacles to their well-being. Through this collaborative relationship, the clinician and client work together to develop an effective action plan to accomplish the client's goals.

Joseph has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and adjustment concerns.
