Profile

 Sergeant Major Sean Grantham joined the U.S. Naval Academy in June 2025 and serves as a senior enlisted advisor to the VADM James B. Stockdale Center for Ethical
Leadership. A native of El Paso, Texas, Sean entered the Marine Corps in August of
2001. He has held a diverse array of leadership roles across the Fleet Marine Force,
recruiting duty, and training commands. He deployed multiple times in support of
Operations Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Enduring Freedom, and has led Marines in
both combat and peacetime environments in the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific
region. Sergeant Major Grantham has attended numerous service schools, holds a BS
degree in Business Management and is pursuing a Master of Education degree.
