The Stockdale Associate Fellows program is a year-long academic course and experiential learning program intended to invest in the leadership development of staff, faculty, administrators and coaches.

Classroom Learning

Classes convene weekly and aim to comprehensively develop leadership developers. The course foremost focuses on individual leadership development, and continues on to develop one’s approach to organizational leadership, and ends with developing one’s approach to leading our Nation’s future leaders.

Experiential Learning

We consider the Supplemental Experiential learning Opportunities offered to Stockdale Associate Fellows as paramount to the success of this program in developing leadership developers. Experiential learning opportunities are modeled off of experiences participated in by most Midshipmen during their four years in Annapolis. These experiences include: The high ropes “Confidence” course, a ride on the Yard Patrol (YP) craft, a “Dining Out” traditional Navy dinner experience, and the 10-meter jump, etc.
